MetaDefender Vault v2.0.8 - Enhanced Access Control for Cross-Domain Security
Product Overview
MetaDefender Vault is a cross-domain solution that enables the secure transfer of files into and out of critical networks. MetaDefender Vault prevents advanced cyber security threats by leveraging multiple technologies within the MetaDefender Core platform, including Deep Content Disarm and Reconstruction (Deep CDR), Multiscanning, File-based Vulnerability Assessment, Proactive Data Loss Prevention (Proactive DLP) and Threat Intelligence.
Release Highlights
MetaDefender Vault adds Role-based access control as part of an expanded permission management system. As of this release, administrators can specify (enable or disable) whether regular users can create guest accounts or not. Watch out in future releases as we add more complex features.

A few product fixes were made in this release for a better user experience -
- Fixed Processing History / Approval History file grids to correctly highlight files in Supervisor Denied Access state.
- Ensured that search is UTF-8 compatible for the following pages: Audit, My Files, Pending Approval, Approval History, Setup Supervisors.
- Configure Active Directory button is now available during synchronization so administrators can configure or change settings before the sync finishes.
