According to Smart Banking, in early 2022, the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam issued Directive 02/CT-NHNN on promoting digital transformation and ensuring information security in banking. Subsequently, it is required that units of the State Bank, financial institutions, foreign bank branches, and intermediary payment services actively and effectively implement the tasks and solutions stated in the “Plan on digital transformation of banking sector by 2025, with the orientation towards 2030” issued together with Decision No. 810/QD-NHNN dated May 11, 2021 by the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.

Keynote with Cuong La | “Protect Bank Against Advanced Cyber-Threats in the Connected World”

Cuong La, OPSWAT’s Vice President of Research and Development, General Director of OPSWAT Vietnam, will be hosting a keynote presentation on October 12, from 14:15 - 14:30 (VNT) on how banks can comprehensively protect their critical infrastructures against increasingly advanced cyber-threats in the connected world and share recommendations on how OPSWAT has been protecting critical infrastructure around the world for more than two decades.
