Event Wrap-up: Security Days 2022 in Tokyo

OPSWAT, a global leader in IT/OT critical infrastructure cybersecurity solutions and Deep Content Disarm and Reconstruction (Deep CDR) technology, participated in the Security Days Fall 2022 Tokyo held at JP Tower Hall & Conference from October 4 to 7, 2022.
We introduced OPSWAT's advanced technology and IT/OT comprehensive security solutions that protect the world's critical infrastructure at a keynote session and exhibition booth to government, energy, manufacturing, finance, communications, transportation and technology companies in the critical infrastructure field.
Keynote Session
“How to Comprehensively Protect Your IT/OT from Increasingly Sophisticated Cyber Attacks”
Recommendations from OPSWAT based on the experience of protecting critical infrastructure around the world for more than two decades

In recent years, the world's critical infrastructure has been severely impacted by cyberattacks such as ransomware and hacking, which affect our daily lives. In this session, Yiyi Miao, Senior Vice President of Products at OPSWAT, talked about how our advanced technology and comprehensive IT/OT security solutions developed over the past 20 years can help organizations protect against increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks. Yiyi shared with case studies how OPSWAT's approach is critical and effective in addressing today's security challenges.
For example, as a countermeasure against increasingly sophisticated malware, OPSWAT MetaScan maximizes the detection rate of malware hidden in files by scanning them with more than 30 different commercial anti-malware engines simultaneously. Organizations can protect themselves against known and unknown threats entering and leaving their environments through advanced prevention technologies like Deep CDR, file-based vulnerability assessment, and Proactive DLP that can detect sensitive information in files.

Yiyi also explained how Deep CDR can sanitize Excel 4.0 macros and LNK files exploited in the Emotet attack scenario, which has spread again in Japan.
Exhibition
At the exhibition corner, many customers visited our booth over the four days as we introduced the latest solutions, such as OPSWAT Neuralyzer and MetaDefender Kiosk.

MetaDefender Kiosk prevents threats from entering the organization via removable media by scanning and inspecting them with advanced technologies such as MetaScan and Deep CDR before bringing them into the organization. At the exhibition, we demonstrated how we could safely bring the data into critical networks via USB devices in a network-isolated environment, using MetaDefender Kiosk in conjunction with OPSWAT's MetaScan and Deep CDR.
OPSWAT Neuralyzer provides complete visibility into an organization's OT assets and network by continuously detecting assets within the OT environment and monitoring for threats, vulnerabilities, supply chain violations, and non-compliance issues.
We would like to thank everyone who attended the keynote presentations and stopped by the OPSWAT booth. Please feel free to contact us with any questions about our technology, products, solutions, trial license, and more. Contact information: https://www.opswat.com/contact
